Challenging Weather & Site Conditions:

HJ Foundation, in a partnership with Case Foundation, both Keller Companies, worked together with Keating/Smoot Construction JV to install more than 1,700 piles during February and March in Pittsburgh under very challenging weather and site conditions. The JV was very pleased to receive the deep foundations ahead of schedule.

 

Schedule & Safety:

HJ Foundation and Case Foundation are proud to report that even while operating under very challenging weather and site conditions, and while saving weeks on the schedule, safety was never compromised – zero safety incidents occurred.

 

Services Provided:

• 1,700+ augered piles

• 18-inch diameter (200-ton & 165-ton compression piles)

Scope of Work:

• Production pile installation

• All grout

• Furnish & install pile rebar

• Stockpile on site all spoils for disposal

• Perform pile layout & as-built survey

• Shooting all grades
