The Bottom Line: HJ Foundation installs the augered piling for the super column foundations in less than 2 weeks, ahead of schedule and with zero safety incidents at this landmark project.

 

Ease of Contracting:

HJ Foundation was contacted by Colasanti Specialty Services, Inc. to install the augered piling for the foundation package. HJ Foundation finalized the agreement and mobilized to the site in less than one week, while meeting all the contract requirements for minority participation and use of local work force. We successfully installed all test piles and performed all testing in less than 2 weeks from mobilization.

 

Schedule Savings and Safety:

HJ Foundation installed up to 30 piles per day drilling through very hard limestone with its state-of-the-art pile installation equipment. We are proud to report that even while saving weeks on the schedule, safety was never compromised – zero safety incidents occurred.

 

 

Services Provided:

• 180+ augered piles

• 18-inch diameter (225-ton compression & 125-ton tension piles)

Scope of Work:

• Pile load testing for Compression and Tension piles

• Production pile installation

• Furnish & install pile rebar and grout

• Perform pile cutoff

• Shooting all grades and verification of all horizontal layout (Internal to HJ Foundation)
