UNIVERSITY OF FLORIDA, Gainesville FL

University of Florida’s Ben Hill Griffin Stadium has undergone several renovations since 1930 when it seated approximately 21,000 fans. Today, its capacity is just shy of 90,000, making it the largest stadium in the state. In 2001, the University of Florida contracted HJ Foundation to install 576 16-inch by 55-foot long piles to support the addition of roughly 3,000 new luxury club seats, an expanded press level, a renovated and enlarged Bull Gator Deck, an enlarged President’s Suite and 34 additional suites. The entire expansion was scheduled for completion in less than two years and HJ Foundation successfully installed all 1,223 50-foot piles on schedule.
